Snuggle Up!

There's nothing better than a good sweater on a windy day! I had so much fun photographing the lovely Sara in this chunky knit! This one came from the store Fine'n'Funky ... such a fabulous boutique, so I suggest you head over there and shop till you drop!

Flashback Friday!

Flashback to me photographing fashion...my happy place! And a major throwback with the Dead Head tee shirt + jean vest! Actually, now that I'm really looking into it, I feel a bit embarrassed that this photo was taken only a year ago because I literally look like I'm in my high school photography 101 class and not much has changed! What can I say? The things fashion photographers get away with wearing on set is ridiculous, but I didn't make the rules. xo, L

Wedding Shoe Game

I photographed a wedding this week that had some fabulous guests with some pretty amazing shoes! Just wanted to share the fabulously with y'all!

It's about Me, I mean You, I mean ME!

When I shoot weddings, I'm not like all the other wedding photographers in that I barely ever wear all black. Lately, I've been wearing my favorite dresses from Anthropologie { Hello, Anthrolpologie, are you listening? I smell a sponsorship! } The maxi dresses are ideal because so much bending over and kneeling is involved in getting the right angle, I don't need to be worried about showing the guests my knickers! I love them so much because they are dressy enough to be appropriate for most outside weddings AND the patterns are fabulous but aren't crazy, so I'm not running the risk of out shining the Bride or bridesmaids. Just wanted to share some style advice to all the photographers out there when they are planning their ensemble to photograph a wedding. Let's face it, sometimes a black outfit can be fabulous and we all know that, but you also run the risk of looking like one of the waiters. And sometimes I see photographers dressed in all black everything it's like "who died?!" so have some fun in your dress, just not too much fun!

Frenchies do it better!

I saw this funny pinterest page called French Girls Do It Better Because They Wear Scarves. Gave me a laugh as well as some inspiration as to MORE ways to incorporate scarves into my ensembles. Oh, how I adore a scarf!

My Favorite Overall Look

To say I'm excited about overalls being back in fashion from the 90's would be an understatement! I've been wearing my NSF striped ovies like 8 days a week and I also found a cheaper alternative in distressed black at Pacific Sun.
