I saw this funny pinterest page called French Girls Do It Better Because They Wear Scarves. Gave me a laugh as well as some inspiration as to MORE ways to incorporate scarves into my ensembles. Oh, how I adore a scarf!

Sundays Make Me Happy!

Wen't to the Farmer's Market in Anthem today with my Grammy and was so excited to see for the first time July's issue of Images AZ where I have photos published! Dr. Marten's New Store!

I had so much fun shooting photos for the brilliant commercial interior design firm Ross Burton for the new Dr. Marten store in the Scottsdale Quarter....the lovely store manger even let me run around in adorable floral loafer pair to get in the spirit!

In The Glossy

I've recently been working for Images AZ magazine and I've been having a blast! I have some photos published in this month's Anthem issue so if you see one be sure to pick it up and check it out! Also, very excited to be featured in the contributors section. What can I say, seeing yourself in a glossy magazine never gets old.

When it comes to shooting portraits of any kind, including corporate head shots, the three most important things are location, location and location. So when I got the opportunity to photograph pro golfer Penny Pulz, I picked my new favorite place to shoot, Kierland. It is specifically beautifully blank by the Restoration Hardware. The patio set up there is thebomb.com so I take advantage whenever the subject is game for shooting guerilla style...as in, I'm pretty sure the "manager" wouldn't be cool with me shooting commercially there. My Garden Rocks!

I wanted to share one of my favorite DIY projects for my garden labels. I bought wood ones with little chalk board fronts, but after months of watering they fell apart on me. So one day, I took a walk around the neighborhood and collected flat front river rocks. I washed them and spray painted both sides in titanium white. Doesn't matter which type of spray paint you choose, they are all pretty durable these days and covered for outdoor use. After letting the white dry overnight, I used letter stamps and a Staz On permanent ink pad to create garden labels that are not only chic but wont ruin or rust by daily watering! Love them and hope this inspires someone to put a little love into your garden!

My Favorite Overall Look

To say I'm excited about overalls being back in fashion from the 90's would be an understatement! I've been wearing my NSF striped ovies like 8 days a week and I also found a cheaper alternative in distressed black at Pacific Sun. 

 

My Passion For Fashion

I've been lucky enough lately to be the photographer for the high end fashion boutique Stephanie's in Scottsdale, AZ! We are gearing up for the launch of their website where we will sell everything from vintage concert tees, Isabel Marant, Golden Goose sneaks, Alexander Wang and IRO to Martone bicycles! The photos shoots are a blast and I've even had the opportunity to photograph and graphic design a full page ad for the store that ran in Scottsdale Modern Luxury magazine.
