Celebrity Doppelganger

Lately I've been thinking about celebrity doppelgangers. A few weeks ago, I read the book Who What Wear and in it they refer to them as your CD, so whenever you are in a style rut you simply refer to your CD. Then this whole craze on facebook. Then just yesterday my friend Ally said some one told her she looks like Zooey Deschanel, the actress in 500 Days of Summer, and it made me realize that she is the spitting image of her and it's just occurring to me. Made me so jealous, I wish I was a dead ringer for a celebrity! When I truely pressed Kelsen on who he thought I could be {please say Audrina Lima! Please!}... he said Natalie Portman which I had to disagree with. True, sometimes people say that when they first meet me for some reason, and the family that I nanny for said I would look great with super short hair and headbands while the kids were watching Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.
But I just think people are crazy.

tres comedie.

I picked up this dude at pre school today, made them dinner (pb&j's anyone?) and put them to sleep, then came home and put close to 4 grand worth of high fashion lounge wear on to the website. My life is funny today. Wish I had a reality show.

Chris + Rachael's Wedding Video

{ So excited to finally send Rachael + Chris their wedding DVD! Since the Ellingtons are family friends, my parents were there taking tequila shots and my best friend Ally was my assistant- we had so much fun shooting this wedding! We used mostly digital but the black and whites were shot on infra red film which is my favorite film, I think. So without further a do... here is a photo of me from the wedding doing something weird like a fist pump and here is the video! Enjoy! }

No big.

This is a photo from the first wedding I ever shot when I was a sophomore in college { at Brooks in Santa Barbara } and I pretty much think it rocks. To be honest, I didn't know then that I wanted to specialize in weddings so I went on with fashion and product photography and majored in digital imaging. I'm so glad I did because all of those things really help me out now. But let's be honest, it rocks even years later. I saw on twitter the other day that the Becker is the Nickelback of wedding photography. I loved it and laughed then began to think what I would be. Possibly the Carrie Underwood, the Rihanna, the soon to be power house that is Mariah Carey. What do you all think? Discuss.

New Work: Fine'N'Funky Newsletters

This week I decided to do my photo shoot for the newsletter inside my home studio because, well, it's freezing outside.
